Autoflowers need a lot of light to grow and flower. A common light schedule for autoflowers is 18/6 or 20/4, which means that the plants receive 18 or 20 hours of light per day and 6 or 4 hours period of darkness, respectively. There are a few things you can do to help fatten up your autoflower buds. First, make sure your plant is getting enough light. More light means more energy for the plant to use to produce buds. Second, make sure you’re feeding your plant the right nutrients at the right time. Finally, be patient! If they need more light, move the lamps closer. It’s as simple as that! Sometimes people think autoflowering plants don’t require light to grow. That’s incorrect. Autoflowers need light to grow and develop, they just don’t need light shortage to initiate flowering. Avoid stretching How much PAR for flowering. To activate the flowering stage, weed plants need to receive 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness.
